Judge Charlene Jackson's Tenure Under Scrutiny: A Call for Accountability in the Maricopa County Superior Court

Judge Charlene Jackson's Resume Conflicts Demand Immediate Attention and Action

Reports suggest that Judge Charlene Jackson's tenure at the Maricopa County Superior Court marks her 14th or 15th judicial role, a significant increase of about 7 to 8 positions compared to what she has officially stated on her Maricopa County Court Resume. A variety of resumes and bios attributed to Judge Jackson can be found online, particularly for speaking engagements and other professional opportunities; however, many of these documents present conflicting information. After discrepancies were highlighted on social media, Judge Jackson took steps to remove her online profiles in an apparent attempt to conceal her inconsistencies.

The situation casts doubt on the veracity of Judge Jackson's statements in Jackson's initial application for the position of Maricopa County Judge. If it is determined that a judge has been dishonest in their application process, it raises serious ethical questions and should lead to immediate removal from the bench, along with potential criminal charges. The integrity of the judicial system relies on the honesty of its members, and any breach of trust must be addressed.

Arizona law clearly prohibits filing false disclosures, committing perjury, and submitting a false instrument for filing, and these laws must be upheld without exception, whether the individual in question is a judge or an ordinary citizen. The implications of such violations are significant, as they undermine public confidence in the judicial system. It is crucial that accountability measures are enforced to ensure that all judges adhere to the highest ethical standards of honesty and integrity.

The Arizona Supreme Court, along with the Commission on Judicial Conduct and Judge Jackson's supervisors, Judge Ronda Fisk and Judge Joseph Welty, have yet to respond to the growing number of ethical and misconduct complaints against Judge Jackson. This inaction raises serious concerns about the integrity of the entire Arizona judiciary.

The State of Arizona needs to remove their Criminal Judges off the bench, starting with Maricopa County Family Court Judge Charlene D. Jackson-Etnire.
